Paul Pogba’s car seized day before Manchester United’s highly- anticipated return
Pogba was pulled over by officers near Manchester airport and Rolls Royce seized.
The Rolls Royce was seen driving near Manchester Airport at around 1pm when it was stopped by police officers. The car appeared to still be using French number plates, despite being in the UK for 6+ months. According to the DVLA, if the owner of the car is residing in the UK, it must be registered to the UK within 2 weeks of importing.
Due to this, a patrol car of the Greater Manchester Police, had no choice but to pull over the Rolls and seize the vehicle under the Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.
Pogba now has a week to retrieve his car and will have to pay £150 plus £20 for every day that it is held.
We’re sure the midfielder’s wage could stand to lose a couple hundred, though!
