Tottenham’s video wall: This will be one to watch

scott brown news.jpg

Ahead of their game against Manchester United on 19th June, Tottenham are giving a select number of their Season Ticket Holders and Executive Members a chance to be a part of this unique experience.

Every remaining Premier League game will be played behind-closed-doors so clubs, particularly Tottenham, are searching for new ways to gain advantages at their home matches. There will be a live video stream of fans on their giant screens being played into the stadium during their game against Man Utd. There will not be audio being played, however.

Fans must enter a competition, showing themselves in their living room ‘kitted out’, and are encouraged to react to events taking place in the game. The footage will then be fed into the stadium at various points throughout the match, so players know their fans are cheering them on, despite not being in the stadium.
The club released a statement:

“We are giving supporters the chance to be a part of a live video fan wall during our first ever behind-closed-doors Premier League match against Manchester United. Spurs Inside is a first for the club. The live video will be streamed live on the giant screens in the stadium bowl intermittently throughout the match so the players will know fans are watching”.

Kick-off is at 8:15pm, let’s hope there won’t be any live blunders on the giant TVs!
