Tyrell Robinson admits to sexual activity with a minor
The former Bradford City player was sacked from the club for gross misconduct following being charge by Police.
Robinson, 22, pleaded guilty to engaging in sexual activity with a child, of 14-years old, in August of 2018. Despite allegedly making and distributing indecent images of a child through Snapchat, he would deny this charge and the court heard the prosecution would not proceed with that charge.
However, Judge Johnathon Rose reportedly told the former Winger,
“You must not assume that the fact that I am adjourning sentence and granting you bail is to mean that any particular sentence will be imposed upon you. All options will be open to the judge who deals with your case, and that will very much include the possibility of a prison sentence".
Tyrell Robinson was then ordered to sign the sex offenders register before leaving court, until he awaits sentencing on 12th April 2021.
